Finishline was established in 2003 by Chris & Amy Bray. Chris has always had a passion for all things motor vehicle and grew up playing in his Grandads scrapyard. His passion led him into a career in vehicle bodywork and he trained at BMW college in Birmingham. Chris went on to have a successful career with BMW until convincing Amy that it would be a great idea to set up their own bodyshop!
Over the years the business has grown from it being just the two of them in the early days, to the amazing team of staff they have today. Along the way they have dabbled in Motorsport and had their own race team as well as a successful track day company. Their range of services have grown to incorporate not just bodywork but now also mechanical repairs and services too.
Chris & Amy are extremely passionate about what they do and take pride in always providing the highest level of service to their customers. They are extremely proud of what they and their team have achieved.
Chris – Director
Chris is our resident control freak and annoys everyone with his attention to detail. He undertakes the day-to-day operation management and liaises with customers, Insurance companies and fleet management.
Chris’ dream vehicle is a Porsche 911 RSR. But he will always have a passion for anything with a BMW badge and would love a classic BMW from his early BMW days.
Chris used to be a professional cyclist and competed for team GB in the Mountain Bike World Cup. Nowadays he’s just a middle-aged man in lycra who cycles on the weekends!
Amy – Director
Amy runs the Admin & Accounts for the business. She studied Business Management and Economics at University in Cambridge and although she had great plans to get a city job Chris convinced her that she should come and set up a business with him!
Her dream car is a Ferrari Dino, but she also loves her Classic MGA named ‘Su’ which her & Chris use on sunny days!
In her spare time, she can be found doing downward dog or lotus position on her yoga mat.

Robin oversees our body shop, helping keep projects on track. Robin loves working on 60’s muscle cars, he also scuba dives when he gets the chance, his ambition to scuba with whale sharks in the Philippines.

Service Co-ordinator
George loves working on any old Japanese cars, he dreams of creating his own collection one day! He also enjoys cooking oriental food in his spare time for his family.
Nikky
Social Media and Marketing Exec
Nikky looks after our social media and marketing so if your messaging via Instagram or Facebook its likely you’re talking to her. She spends most of her down time with her two little girls and husband, she’s always had an interest in cars and would love to watch F1 in Abu Dhabi one day.

Senior Paint Technician
Richard loves working on any Electric vehicle, so much so his family vehicles are now fully electric. Hes also vegan and has a black belt in taekwondo.

Richard aka Flappy is known for getting into a bit of a flap when things aren’t going his way, he loves working on Italian sports cars and dreams of doing a bungee jump or skydive.

Sonny has worked for us in the past and has come back after a year out back home in New Zealand.

Scott is our apprentice paint technician, whilst attending college he spends time with the team learning the ropes and experiencing the high quality work that we strive to achieve here at Finishline UK Ltd.

Shaun loves working on any vehicle that likes to go sideways, he also dreams of travelling to Japan, to see more vehicles that like to go sideways.

Tom worked with us a few years ago, he loved it so much he’s come back.

Ry loves working on 1980s and 1990s vehicles, he would love to travel to Croatia to explore and relax. He also enjoys spending time with his children and family when hes not working.
