MGCC MG Trophy Championship - 6th September - Chris Bray
A difficult qualifying session including a couple of spins whilst exploring the new 720 compound slicks resulted in Chris taking P7 for Race 1 and P8 for Race 2.

Race 1 started well and by lap 3 Chris had passed Walker and was battling with Luti, however, a serious incident between two Class C cars on lap 4 saw the race red flagged. The race restarted from the original grid positions but by the end of lap 1 Chris had made his way up to P5. An off at Avenue put him back to P6 until the last lap where Cole lost his front wheel and Chris passed Ross to finish in P4, he also took fastest lap of the race with a time of 1.57.989.

Race 2 saw an even better start for Chris and by the end of lap 1 he had made up two spaces and was sitting in P6. His charge up the pack continued, lap 3 saw him move into P5 and on lap 6 he moved into P4. A mistake by Luti at Knickerbrook allowed Chris to pass and he spent the remainder of the race battling with Robertson for P2. As they approached the line a tap from Luti pushed Chris ahead and he finished in P2 0.001s ahead of Robertson. Chris took fastest lap of the race with a time of 1.57.368 and his impressive fight for positions also earned him Driver of the Race.

Chris is now 3rd in the overall Championship and is leading Class B with one round left to race.
